Former All-Conference and 1,000 yard rusher Marvin Townes joins the Big Show Combine
Townes earned All-Conference USA honors as a kick returner and posted the 12th 1,000 yard season in school history. As a junior in 2003, finished with 1,128 rushing yards, scored 8 touchdowns, and caught 23 passes for 176 yards. He ended his career with a total of 1,832 rushing yards on 447 carries and 12 touchdowns.
Played in all 12 games...ECU's second-leading rusher with 304 yards on 76 carries (4.0 per) and scored twice...Averaged 21.7 yards per kickoff return...Also caught six passes for 50 yards...Preseason All-Conference USA as a kick returner
