40 yd dash – Measures athlete's overall running speed. Each athlete will have 2 attempts at this event.
Vertical Jump – Measures lower body explosion and how high an athlete can jump. Each athlete will have 2 attempts at this event.
Broad Jump – Measures lower body explosion and athleticism. Each athlete will have 2 attempts at this event.
Pro Agility Drill – Also called the 5-10-5 drill, this drill measures an athletes lateral quickness. Each athlete will have 2 attempts at this event.
3-Cone Drill – Also called the L-Drill, this drill measures lateral quickness. Each athlete will have 2 attempts at this event.
Bench Press – Measures an athlete's strength. Each athlete will have 1 attempt to complete maximum number of reps.
All athletes will be grouped by their primary football position and complete position drills instructed by the coaches at the combine. The athletes will be given experienced instruction from former college and professional football players.
After position drills are completed, athletes will compete in one-on-one drills with their offensive or defensive position counterpart.
The recruitment of high school athletes will be outlined in this segment. The athletes will be reminded of key dates and the overall process of the college football recruiting process. Parents are invited on the field to listen.
